About The Cracked Pot (Foster Care & At-Risk Youth)
The Cracked Pot is a nonprofit coffee shop that partners with foster youth in both Mechanicsburg (130 Gettysburg Pike) & Carlisle (36 N. Hanover Street). Their mission is to employ and develop youth aging out of the foster care system. This is done through connecting them with a Youth Program Director and a team of individuals that work by their side.
This team includes a licensed therapist, a life coach, and a mentor, which try to bring a sense of normalcy to their lives. Their 5 main objectives that are taught to the youth are mental wellness, housing, financial literacy, transportation, and job skills.
