About Junior and Jayme Sinsmyr (Reach Out Lafond)
Eighty percent of Haitian youth drop out after elementary school. A significant number of Haitians live in constant fear of kidnappings, gang violence and street riots. In 2014, Junior and Jayme Sinsmyr started Reach Out Lafond as a small pipeline ministry sponsoring elementary kids for school. Today, it has grown into programs that empower children and teens with life skills and leadership training so they can see – and – reach their potential.

Most recently, Reach Out Lafond has expanded to include the Rev Program, which is geared to High School students and their families. The Rev Program (meaning “dream” program) provides students with the resources they need, faith formation, and the encouragement to press forward in order to implement lasting change for the future of Haiti.
